
Manu Joseph, whose latest book is ‘Why the Poor Don’t Kill Us’, is an Indian journalist, novelist and screenwriter. His novels are Serious Men, The Illicit Happiness of Other People and Miss Laila, Armed and Dangerous. If this sort of stuff matters to you, he is the winner of The Hindu Literature Prize, among others. He is also the creator of the Netflix series, Decoupled. He wrote the ‘Letter from India’ column for the New York Times for several years.
